Cummins Powered Ramcharger Swap

All right, Ive been beating around the bush on this for a few months now, That's enough screwing around thinking about this project. It's time to crap or get off the pot. Yesterday 11/10/2007 I made the decision to pull the Ram out of service and get started on this conversion. I'm going to put the Cummins, Getrag360 and the 3/4 ton suspension out of my 1990 Ram D250 into my 1990 Ramcharger.
I have started a photo gallery at http://picasaweb.google.com/Ceejmo to cover this step by step.
I have also started an online document at http://docs.google.com/Doc?id=dcs8m5rs_05872qk This is a write up of the process so far.

Looks like you are making progress. It'll be a cool truck when it's done.

I've got a 93 donor, just waiting for the Ramcharger to drop out of the sky.

I've got the Ramcharger, but not the parts truck.... '87 Ramcharger, 360, 727, partime 4x4, straight body with clear coat peeling. To nice to part, not quite nice enough to leave alone.

Keep up with the updates so we can follow. You going to keep it 2WD? What kind of mileage do you expect to get?

why does one need 3/4 ton suspension in a ramcharger that does not haul anything?

Because of what motor your putting in it. The torque from the cummins will eat the stock rearend, and the stock 44 front, I wouldn't trust going offroad anywhere with.

I need to snap some shots of the RamCharger I picked up for my swap. A pristine 93 with 125K miles. I'm so ready to get it on the road. Hoping 25+ is possible. Ron, Mark and I are attacking it this weekend, so I can get the donor remnants to you when he heads your way.

Once I get it out of the white one, and in the shop, I'll tear into it. If your bored come over Saturday and help in the stripping of the 2.
