Crewcab Body Question

For the guy's that have done a crewcab did you have to use a body lift or do you think it will fit without it ? reason i am asking is my last truck had a 3 in body lift when i dropped the 440 in it so I just left it that way when i put the diesel in .If I can get away with it I want to try no body lift and just do some custom front spring's to a solid 5 in lift so my crossover steering will fit .

My conversion didn't require a body lift but I am using the gas fuel tank. The diesel tank will not fit without mods to the tank or a body lift. Everything else fit just fine with no body lift.

Ditto on tank. I did the mashing of the diesel tank, but I must still be rubbing because I have a nasty vibration at idle. I am going to explore putting the big pickup onto the gasser fuel tank. I personally don't want to go any higher, but I could now that I got a borgeson steering shaft. I have no issues around the bell housing and the firewall.
