crewcab question

So I saw an older dodge for sale today, that I might have to buy. The windshield simply said "runs, $1,000". It's an 80's model crewcab, d350 dually, gasser 4spd manual. I was between jobs, so I just had a quick look. I'm mainly interested in the rear diff, and a few other drivetrain parts, but I couldn't help but think about what some of you guys do with these older crewcabs. The body itself looked to be in great condition, and I wouldn't wanna bring it to the crusher. What do you guys think it's worth?

Unless it's untaxed, then it's red.

I would pay 1000 for it. Heck, I'd pay 1500 if it would get past MD inspection with little work. Get some pics and post them up for us to drool over - I don't see any crews around here ever

Crewcab, dually, and a manual trans...that is a great starting point for a cummins crew conversion. I agree...$1K all day long IMO.

If the body is nice it's worth $3000-$4000

Grab it!!! They are worth more to a Dodge truck nut if the cab is solid. I scored an 85 D350 shortbed with an 86 318/727 D60 for a grand. The floor pans nee some work, but it is drivable as it is and fixable when it turns warm. Bought it for my parents. Mom kept wanting a 4 door truck for the farm.
