Sorry to here this its allways hard to find out about another 1GEN being put down.

 

Well, after 4 weeks of waiting... The insurence company called me today!! I have been calling a couple times a week ever since the wreck happened, The ins. co. kept telling me "the 'guy' I needed to talk to was out of the office." Well the guy finally called!!

I think he gave me a stupid low offer... But tell me what you think.
First he offered me $3225.00! Then, after four more offers he finally went up to $5409.32. He said that was the absolute highest he could go. I just simply told him I would call him back on Monday. I never really raised my voice or argued with him...I just said "I don't think thats gonna work." then he would make another offer! Seem's kinda screwed up if ya ask me!

I have no idea what I'm gonna do, I have no money for a lawyer! And I mean NO money! I have lost so much money at my buisness while all this has been going on it's not even funny. I'v been able to use my dad's V-10 to do some of my hauling/delivering, but I still have to pay him for the use of his truck! Not to mention all the extra gas that pig uses!

I think my truck is worth alot more than what he is offering me, I have about $5100.00 in parts recepts on my truck over the course of about two years!

Well I'm done complaining for a while...anyone have any ideas I'd sure be glad to hear them! Any lawyers out there want to do a 'probono' case? (-:

I agree that you'll have a hard time replacing the truck for what the ins. co. is offering. Maybe tell them to find you one as nice as yours was and buy it for you? Send them a few listings from the DTR and TDR classifieds, as well as AutoTrader and Ebay listings to show them what you expect.

 

Where is your truck now? I would get it someplace that has the storage ticker going, it tends to speed things up with the ins. co. If worse comes to worse you could tell them they'll just have to fix it. Go to traderonline and print all the listed trucks and prices and ask them to locate the replacement for your truck. Right now my truck is at a bodyshop. I demanded inside storage for that rea$on! $35 a day! The way I look at it, my truck would be sitting inside in the garage if that lady didn't hit it, So it's gonna sit inside now!!

As for printing off like trucks...Done all that! It's been a month now, I'v printed plenty!! (-:
