Smile A couple of quick questions

My cruise control wont work but in the past few weeks it would set and hold speed for about 5 seconds and then it would shut off, and now it wont do anything, any ideas?
Also with the price of diesel going up i was wondering if a 50/50 mix of ATF and diesel would be ok, the past owner ran that mix for a long time and assures me that it will be good, What do you all think of that?
Also how many of you all have aftermarket tranny coolers, can you all post pictures, also what kind of improvment does it give, Do you all reccommend doing this?

Horn work? Crunching noises from the steering column?

The 50/50 mix is a little heavy unless you work the truck pretty hard. I'd keep it down around 20%. Make sure you filter it first.

I thought used AT was a unles filtered REALLY good to remove the metal debris.

A properly sized AT cooler will make a difference, especially if you tow. It keeps my tranny in the safe range.

Do a search on the cooler for pics & details. Same on fuel mixtures, there's been a lot of arguments - I mean discussion of what to mix and how much.

Well with the stock cooler my transmission would run anywhere from 190-220 without towing. Then the transmission blew up!

Got the transmission redone with a nice sized transmission cooler and now i stay in the range of 145 on the transmission

Does the horn work?

If you run a lot of waste oil in a truck that runs around empty all the time, it tends to cause a lot of deposits on the injectors.

I think when wanna means empty he means not loaded in the bed or a trailer.
