Unhappy Cooling/Overheating questions

Hello everyone, I have some cooling questions. My truck the one in my sig. has started to get warmer than it has in the past. The temp guage rides about the middle with my small trailer in tow. I'm half afraid to pull my 5th wheel! My question is what is the answer?

I have a new radiator, new hoses, new Cummins thermostat, and it still gets a warm as ever before. Again, what is the answer to this problem?

TIA: Tony

The radiator should be clean as it is new. The air filter is a bad K&N that might need cleaning. Thanks, Tony

Well thanks for enlightening me! If that is where it is supposed to run, then no problem. I just thought, ( I know I'm not supposed to think ) since it used to run near the first inside mark that's where it should be. Thanks, for the help, Tony

It sounds to me like the old thermostat was letting it run a little cold. As long as it's not past the 5:00 position it's OK.

Most of the time it is at 6:00. It might get to five if I have it WOT.

Thanks, Tony

Your fan clutch may be going out. Just something else you can check.
