cooling fan pulley has some play...

I just noticed while replacing the serpentine belt that the fan pulley can move about an 1/8" on one side. I can't figure out where the play is coming from since all the bolts are tight.

Is that a bad bearing in the pulley? What is the replacement part needed to fix? Am I suppose to replace the fan and pulley?

For some reason I just figure out this one or how to go about it.

Yup sounds like your pulley hub bearing is going. You will need to either get a new complete hub assembly, or buy the bearing and replace it. There is a wrote up in the Sticky on how to replace the bearing.

The bearing number is...DF0766LLUACS32 , NTN BEARING. Not cheap though.
