Custom VE pump!!!!

Hey ya'll my cousin just bought a C&C machine and I'm going to try and get him to make me a custom pump. I need some Idea's on how to do this from the smart people.
So give me some idea's, I was thinking about just making a bigger copy of the stock pump.
Let's get somthing started here, can I do this or is it a waste of time?

I'd start with a larger case vane-pump so as to comfortably feed a larger H/R.

yea I was planning on that. Is KTA on this forum? He seems to know a lot about pumps.

What I'd like to do is make a pump that will flow enough fuel for a 14mm head at 4200rpm's. And keep it cool and reliable.

A sigma VE, now that sounds scarey! I guess in a way you could almost still claim its all first gen because its a VE pump of some sort. But if the quest for power huge power and reliability is so great, why not just go P-Pump? I know, its not the same. But the end price of a full billet custom VE pump will be every bit as much as a P-Pump conversion, if not more. And will likely flow close to a stock 215hp P7100 turned up. Dont mean to kill the mood, just thinking outloud.

What about just machine the shaft down on a larger VE from an old semi or boat, to fit our pump gear, and just make mounting holes for it to bolt up. Basicaly the same thing right?

The biggest need for improvement is the fill port in the head and rotor. Fix that, with a 6 vane pump, and things will be golden!

Also dual feeds would be nice with true 1/2" to even a single 5/8"

Have you had one of these pumps apart? LOTS of little passages and different things going on internally to make it all work together!

I think you mean CNC machine.
Just because you have access to a precision piece of equipment doesn't mean that you will be able to build a pump from scratch.
I own a whole cnc shop, currently at 4 machining centers. I have lots of personal projects, but rarely get to any of them. I have too much paying work to waste my time piddling with fun stuff. Most of the parts inside that pump are either cast or hardened. It would be impractical, if not impossible to make a complete pump. The barrel and plunger for example are precisely ground on specialized equipment, if you simply have a vertical mill, you won't be able to hold the micron size tolerance for the fit, not to mention it is probably ground in its hardened state. Almost all of the cast parts have special machined features, in addition to the casting.
Before I poo poo all over your parade. You may be able to find one or 2 parts that could be modified to improve performance. Have at it if that is your intention. I believe building a "custom" pump from scratch is dream land.

I've thought about just modifying the stock VE case with a bigger inlet/outlet for cooling
