Coolertubz by Tim (TWorline)?

Does anyone know how to get ahold of Tim or know if he is still making them? His website is not working anymore and I'm in need of a 3" intake horn for my 90 non I/C. Any help or info would be appreciated.

Thanks,

i think he stopped making them. a good alternative is to use a 24v intake horn, which has a 3" inlet and then just get some 3" pipes bent at an exhaust shop

I am in the same boat The problem with the non IC trucks is that little cross over. I am looking at making my own as I will be doing a turbo swap. or upgrade.

Tim closed up shop 2+ years ago.
I bought his last NON I/Ced crossover pipe he had at that time.

Mark, check out my Ramcharger build for a picture of a custom crossover pipe I have in the works.

How much are you going to turn up the fuel?

I don't think the little crossover pipe is a limiting factor as long as you don't go big with a 60mm compressor wheel. I'm running the stock non i/c crossover with an HE300VG turbo, banshee controller, and a small 53mm wheel. The boost is great, even cools above 30PSI. The bigger wheels with non I/C will get surge or make a lot of use of the MWE slot. Going from stock to a 3" crossover pipe won't add enough volume to really make enough difference to be worth it.

If you are upgrading from non i/c to a big intercooler, then go for it and get a big wheel on that turbo.

I have experimented with big 3" custom crossovers as well, but didn't see much difference at all.

For testing purposes I can adjust the housing from 9CM to 25CM with the 53 wheel, it works great.

Check out coolertubz; I believe that is how it is spelled, their website. From the looks of their kits, it looks like Wuorline sold his patent to them, as their kits look awfully identical to what he was building for the 1stGens. I may be wrong about the sell of the patent.

If you know any commercial electricians, they have piping benders that can bend 3" pipe no problem. Just have to calc degrees for them as to what you need in offsets.

Commercial HVAC shops have powered beaders, which can put those raised beads at the ends of the pipe to hold your IC boots on

Another option you can look at is Pusher Intakes. I'm not positive if they're making anything for a non i/c motor though.

3" exhaust tubing, a custom flange a silacone 90* and a reducer and I made my own for less than $50.00.

Electrical conduit benders are all about the radius.

I just used a 2nd intercooler tube and a broken turbo 90 elbow welded to an aluminum plate.
The only thing I had to buy was the reducer boot.

Ya, 200 bucks would be a great investment to get you well on your way to a full intercooled setup. (if you aren't in a hurry and scour for deals)

When I installed my powerstroke ic on my non ic I used the early 24v air horn, flipped the intake plate around to clear the master cyl. Clocked the turbo, used an alum 90 elbow and silicone reducer on hot side with a straight section of 3" alum dom. Cold side was a 45 elbow 3" alum mandrel bend along with a short straight piece. Rolled beads, silicone couplers, clamps. Done.
