I don't really pull that much with my truck, Normally if I do it's a 35ft long gooseneck with a skidsteer on it. Or the trailer loaded down with hay. I just want to dually it because I love the way the duallys look. I plan on over the summer building a welding bed for my truck also. But for now I just want a dually bed. My dad seems to think buying Dually fenders would be cheaper, but my bed is cracking BAD at the corners and every set of dually fender I've found were $200 a piece... Why do that when I can just buy a dually bed that comes with two tail gates for cheaper that's in better condition then the bed on my truck at the moment.

unless you fall into a steel of a deal you won't find fenders for 300.

plus you have some major mods just to get them to bolt on.

the bed sounds like the way to go.

Curtis,
If you'd be interested I am selling my '98 in the link in my post. I would sell the bed and all the wheels and front hubs to dual out your truck for $1700. I am over near Tyler.
