Club Cab Rear Seat
Club Cab Rear Seat
Hey guys, I really enjoy reading your posts. Your posts have educated me about my diesel truck, thanks.
I recently installed a rear seat in my club cab and wanted to share the info to everybody else.
I bought a rear seat out of a 97 chevy X-Cab. The seat fits perfectly, except the foot room. I'm still modifying the brackets and experimenting. One 4x4 post across the middle of the seat works temporarily. Fabricating brackets to permanently mount the seat later.

Re:Club Cab Rear Seat
He is referring to a bench seat, which is a ton more comfortable for the passengers back there....
Tommy, did the back of the seat fit between the speakers OK?
Is there a way you will be able to get the foot room with the mounts you are working on?

Re:Club Cab Rear Seat
Hey Guys, I really don't think there will be a lot of foot room. Although, with the front bucket seats slid up into the dash there will be a little.
I also unbolted the console so it could slid towards the dash or take it out, that did make room for a passenger in the back to have leg room.
I'm using the factory mounts out of the chevy x-cab, so the the seat will pivot and fold up backwards. I'm still working on the mounts though.
I'll try to take so pictures of the project so everybody can visually see how it looks.
