Question Clearance lights ????

I want to add clearance lights to my rig. I think these are the ones I will get ( the late dodge model)

http://www.jcwhitney.com/autoparts/P...002907/c-10101

Are there any better choices out there? I saw some clear lenses with amber bulbs on here they looked cool but I can't find them, Are most of these universal in fit? I am looking for a more low profile version as compared to the older chrome teardrop style on alot of 1st gens. Any advice??

Thats nice!! Hadn't thought about LED for the CLearance lights. Thanks. How hard are they if you don't have them already?

PS, Jim, your in SoCal right? are you getting burned down there?

Do NOT get the pacer high five set from JCW. I had those, and within a year they faded to a clearish orange, nasty color. Go with another source.

I have the cab dimensions in the sticky for you guys.
Go with the LED’s, you will like them and they really stand out.

We are ok where we are here but about 20 miles in either direction is on fire.
The sky was dark with smoke and ash this afternoon.

Hey Jim, do you have any pics or your new cab lights in the daylight? I am going to go with the Grote's like you or the Recons, like Bruiser did, I like the clear/smoke and low profile of the recons, but the amount of led's in the grotes is really nice, I want to see how they affect the overall look in the daytime. Thanks!

As a matter of fact I do, here is what they look like in the daytime.

And if you were wondering, I have had absolutely NO water leaks from the rain or when I wash the truck.

That would not be allowed here.

Jim

Thanks Jim, I salivate everytime I see your truck . Man, I want a matching dually to my current rig. What a coinsidence, mine is a 91' W-250 LE and yours is a 91' D-350 LE what a pair. Let me know if you ever want to get rid of it (not likley, ever!! if your smart!!) And I ll come down and pick her up! I'm only 3-4 hours north of you up here of at the 395 and 14 junction. Just north of Lancaster and Palmdale about an hour(China Lake Naval Air Weapons Station)

PS. Thanks for all the very, very helpful info. I pray that you and all your friends and family make it through these fires unharmed.
