Check out my new bed/fenders/paint!!

I had a busy week this week. Bought a 1982 2wd gasser last weekend for $100 and swapped the mint bed and front fenders onto my cummins. i also gave it a quick paint job so its all one color. Sure does look better than before

That's much better! Very "stealth bomber".

The picture in your Gallery with the new paint and dirt coated tires looks really intimidating.

looks like you pulled the radiator cap and drove a new truck under it. I think it looks great.

Thanks for all the great comments guys

It pretty much is like a whole new truck now. I took a week off from work in between jobs to get some stuff done on it.

New bed
new front fenders/inner fenders
paint
new bench seat
new carpet/floor mat
new ujoints/clamps/bolts
all new rear steel brake lines

Now at least my truck looks like a truck, has functional taillights, a fuel filler neck that is not bungee corded to the body, has a useable bed, and won't draw so many stares from the local fuzz. It might even pass NYS inspection now

Looks ready for a covert operation. Time for an M16 on the gun rack!
