Intercooling pre-1991

I just called Banks, and they no longer offer the Stinger Plus or Powerpack kit for 89-91 so if its not intercooled, I guess i dont have much of a choice other than to start fabbing. Truck was built Nov 1990. Are there any other "off the shelf" kits out there?

Nothing pre-fab that I'm aware of. Look up member sammy340 and check out what he's got going on---big ole shiny intercooler out of an '04 powerstroke!

DO you know of any suppliers that carry Banks items? The guy at Banks said they are still floating around at some suppliers. Any online that I can try?

Just called...Nada. He said to his knowledge Banks was the only one that made a pre-fabbed kit, and they are done. I guess if I want this truck ill be looking at that 6.0 conversion a lil harder

Do you plan on towing a lot? Though I would always LIKE to see lower temps on the gauge, my truck is still plenty powerful and fun to drive
