can't get the idle down

Okay I have the power screw in about 3-3.5 turns. I turned the low idle stop screw in to bring it down. But this didn't help, the throttle doesn't hit it anymore. What do I do?

The throttle linkage may be holding the pump from settling back against the low idle stop screw. Try lengthening the throttle rod between the ball studs. It works like a turn buckle. You may then have to re-adjust the linkage on the top of the pump to get WOT. Hope this helps.

you may have to back the fuel screw out a bit ...watch for runaway that will tell you if the screw is in to far.

Sounds like too much on the full power screw.

If you miss the run away, you'll only do it once

leave the fuel screw there. if the throttle isnt coming back to the adjuster screw then you have to do some linkage adjustment.
There is a metal bracket with a spring that is part of the throttle and cruize control linkage. there is a metal tab that limits the travel. you need to grind some metal off of it to give your linkage more travel, forward and in full throttle position. You may have to look at it for a bit but you will see what Im talking about. good luck
