Can i use a 4 inch grinder on the pin?

Can i use a 4 inch grinder on the pin?

As simple of a question as this may be can i use a grinder on the pin. or is it to much? should i take off the diaphram and should i be aware of anything else? thanks guys.

I used a 4" angle grinder with a new grinding wheel. Just take a little at a time so you don't make it to hot I took my diphram off and clamped the pin in a vice. Then take a die grinder with a fine stone to smooth it out, you don't want any ridges that you can catch your finger nail in both top to bottom and side to side. here is a pic of mine.


Just TAKE YOUR TIME and you will be fine .

gonna leave the pin the way it is right now no grind but turned to the deepest point egts are getting kinda high at 1200 wot so ill stay there im gonna get a 60 mm wheel from gillet in the next few weeks and was wondering if that would lower them a bit? thanks again guys.

the 60mm wheel will lower your egts, it flows alot more air than the stock non i/c turbo, and if you could find a way to sneak and intercooler in there that will help even more.
