Hey guys,

The utility truck has been seeping around the head gasket for awhile. It seems it's leaking a little more now. No steam in the exhaust, not appearence of blowby in the radiator.... hopefully just leaking coolant out?

Anyway, I have the 9mm injector head, so I'm gonna assume it has a few cracks in it. About the only machine shop in Maine that will do o-rings wants $400 to resurface and o-ring my head. I found a NEW 7mm head for $450 (I think with a head gasket...). Anyway, is there anywhere that sells an pre-cut oring'd head?

 

I am pretty sure PDR does it on an exchange basis - they send you a head already done and you send them your core.

 

There was just one in the second gen section already done for 300 bucks, no core......might want to check it out, I believe it uses the same 7 MM injectors.

 

Was this on DTR? I couldn't find it on here by searching "head" in any of the sections. Was this possibly a while ago? Thanks a bunch, I think the heads are the same 91.5-98

 

yep, or at least they did about a year ago when i was looking.

 

Yep, it was just last week. It is gone now though, so someone must have snapped it up.

I was thinking about picking it up just to have a spare.....
