Camping trip
Went on the first camping trip, well 2 days is all the wallet could handle. Here are some pics.
Seboomook Maine up in Moosehead Lake area. Up where the " American Logging " show is filmed.
Campground was 35 miles from any paved roads. ROUGH! and slow. Took 2.5 hrs to make the 35 mile trek out to hot top today. Had to wait for a wooden bridge to be repaired so we could pass. ( 1/2 hour ). Got 9 miles per gallon hauling the 8,000 pound camper. Had to drive with one eye on the egt, and one on the road. She was hot.

The camper was 2003 Keystone cougar 5th wheel....right at 29' and some inches. I forget the actual weight....I'm thinking somewhere round 8k, but don't quote me on this.
The truck is geared with 3:54 gears and at the time a stock auto tranny.
The temps are pretty warm this time of year. It was in the 70's to mid 80's while we were there. It does get cool at night. 50's to 60's.

Beautiful place Richie. Here in Kansas, we've had 47 days so far this summer where the temp was 100 degrees or higher. Most of our area lakes have shrunk to mud holes. Hope you guys had a blast.
