bubbles in tranny oil

bubbles in tranny oil

just checking all fluids only to find lots of bubbles in the tranny oil on the dip stick any ideas??

Was it low and did you check it in (N).........your talking about an auto tranny...right!

93 Dodge W250 Club Cab LE, A518 auto, i check it in N. while running and the level was fine, just never seen bubbles before

Two things come to mind, either the unit is overfilled and the fluid is getting whipped up or you have a leak on the suction side of the pump. I would drop the pan and make sure the filter is secure. There is a small cork gasket that seals the filter to the VB assy, perhaps this is leaking?
