does oil in bubbles absolutely mean blown head gasket
does bubbles in oil absolutely mean blown head gasket
well i have bubbles in my oil when i check the oil right after shutting it off..but if i check it 2 or 3 minutes after shutting it off they are gone...there is no coolant loss or white smoke.no bubbles in coolant.is this just normal frothing of the oil as it moves around the motor...should i be too worried its rotella changed 2000 miles ago...it looks pretty black but not milky or chocolatey at all....just wondering if the bubbles right a few seconds after shutting it off could be normal because i have none of the other symptoms?
Yeah, mine has a few bubbles in it right after shutdown too. A friend's old Ford 6.9 had hella bubbles in his.
I don't think it's anything to worry about . . . unless of course you have other issues.
Take care,
Phill
