Brakes HELP

I live and Iowa and as you know its icy up here well when I'm plowing snow and I hit the brakes the rear brakes lock up and the truck slides sideways A long time ago I bypassed the anti lock stuff. whats wrong with my rear brakes do I need to do something else such as a perportioning valve????? thanks guys.

Don't mean to be a smart a$$...but your on Ice and snow and you have a lot of weight over your front end and probably not much over the rear. I think those back brakes will lock up pretty easy.

How are the brakes in the dry and wet?

add a TON of weight, literally. That should help sick the rear to the ice better. I'm lucky enough that EVERYTHING i work with is HEAVY and lots of it finds its way into the bed of my truck druing the winter.

A bed full of snow n ice weighs things down nice as well :-D
