brakes,brakes, help
Try flushing the system- the brake fuid gets old and moisture laden in about 2 years. I've been after my girlfriend to flush hers (04, original brakes) for 2 years. I guess after driving 1stGens for 10 years, one gets paranoid.
Also wouldnt be a bad time to replace your hoses- they're cheap and easy to replace.

sorry bled the system no help, installed new fluid, old crap was nasty sludge. going to adjust the breaks and also check for vacuum leaks. going to look into new hoses cant afford stainless just bought a ps66/71 so probably replacements any thing else. anybody i cant stand those lights at night, its like a bug light i cant stop staring at them.
ya another problem is when i push on the breaks i have to pump once to get a firm peddle any thoughts thanks stan for reminding me of that, ive grown used to pumping, have a 68 c-10 short bed cummins conversion with bad master cylinder i drive daily.
I had a 93 D35o that had that same problem. The dealer advised me that the vaccum pump was weak, and they cost over a $1000. I found a rebuild kit for a web site "fixingRams" for under $50. But that did not solve the problem. I found a leak in the booster. Replaced the booster and everything was fine.
