Replace the bulb. The brake lamp and tail lamp are the same bulb. Probably just something wrong with it.

If the bulb is good you might have a weak ground.

That's classic bad ground at the light.

Could be lamp to socket, or socket to ground, which is through the wiring on that one.

My bet would also be a bad ground.

I lost a ground last week. Same thing. After a few blinks the backup lights got warmed up and started flashing as well.

You will discover that it's a bad ground.

To prove it, remove the signal bulb, and test to see which wire is the stop lamp and the parking lights. Cut either wire (where you can fix it, obviously) somewhere behind the socket. Now strip a small section of the covering off of the wire. You will find the bare wire strand has been "tinned", meaning it's not a nice copper color, but is turning black. Classic signs of a bad ground.

Replace both sockets and make sure they run to a new clean ground. I also had a lot of problems, with my other truck, with the quick connectors in the rear of the trucks harness, behind and above both rear wheels. The connections had failed, and that's why my brake lights, parking lights were intermittently not working.

Bypassed those quick connects, replaced the sockets in the tail lights, made sure I had good solid grounds and never an issue afterwords.
