Brake Booster Leak??

I've done a few searches and couldn't really find someone with similar symptoms.

This is on a 93 dually, 4x4.

When the truck is running there is a noticeable air leak (assuming vacuum) at the brake pedal. As soon as the brake pedal is touched the leak goes away. The brake pedal goes down about 3/4 its travel and slows the truck but they are not strong at all (can't lock them up or anywhere close).

I am assuming it is a bad brake booster but I wanted to ask.

Thanks for any advice.

Thanks!

Thats what I figured....

So where is a good place to buy one? I am not sure this truck is something I am going to hang onto and I might just fix it and pass it along (got too many toys as it is).

Any auto parts store that's convenient, it's not an uncommon or hard to find part. Get a loaded booster, a leaky master is what kills most boosters.
