Boost that EDIT hx 35

Just put on my new hx35w wastegated thats thing is no joke all kinds of boost. realy loud wistle how do you guys have you wastegates hooked up???

the highest i hit so far was like 38 psi spool up is much faster too

here is the easyest way to hook it up. I used a adjustable boost elbow that I made to set it at 36psi max or the following can happen if it has a prob and goes to over 50psi for about 1/10th of a second. some guys run them 48-50psi with no probs but this can happen and you dont gain anything over 36psi just hot air.

Mine is plumbed into the boost port on the manifold. I ran hard line down under the engine with hoses on each end.

Intrested to know what boost you could hit before, as well as what you egt's were before and after the HX35. By your sig, looks like we are set up pretty close to the same, and I'm almost ready to install a HX of my own.

What psi is the OE wastegate diaphram set at? I gave a Bank$ Big Head away to OL 93 12v a while back. I think it had a sticker that read 42psi. Seems a little much, what'a yall think?

well if i was realy into it i could see 11 1150 on the pyro and 20 23 on the boost now if i see 9 on the pyro thats high i have a 35 pound gauge and ran it all the way up last night cause the waste gate is not hooked up but im gunna set the waste up at like 28 i like it alot but be prepaired the wisthel is realy loud i love it and think its a great easy upgrade and recomend it to any one

i am seeing around 38 psi boost with my H1C stock comp and the 14cm housing, turning that fuel screw makes a difference!
