On board air?
What style/brand of on board air compressor should I get? All I need is the compressor its self. An electric or belt drive/kit? I don,t need to run air tools but I would like to run air bags and inflate tires, maybe run air brakes, tools would be cool but not a necessity. Any advice?

I really like my electric viairs, I have a pair of the 380c compressors, feeding an 8.5 gallon tank. These do a great job filling the tank after blasts from my train horn, and do a good job for the occasional use of air tools when working on the truck. All those lug nuts its nice to be able to zip through them fast and not be all tired out by the time you are done. Hornblasters.com has some decent prices on compressors, if you do not see exactly what you want on their website, call them up, explain what you want to do, and they will make sure you get the correct compressor, taking into consideration tank size and planned use.

If I could afford it I would have one of these hanging on the side of the Getrag, but they are quite expensive. But it would be so sweet at offroad events to have a that much air power!

I didn't actually call them, I just figured it was way more then I could afford. It said in the little side bar that is was 100-170 psi at 70 CFM. I will give them a call after the holidays and get a price, they are made here in Michigan not to far away.
