Question Blower motor switch upgrade?

Hopefully someone can point me in the right direction. I replaced the blower motor switch several years ago with one from the local auto parts and it's now ready for replacement as well. I can get the fan to work on various speeds if I play with it and wiggle it in and in between detent positions. My question is, has anyone come up with a good upgrade or replacement for the factory blower motor switch? I've scanned thru the sticky and read Jim Lane's blower motor relay upgrade but I haven't found an upgraded blower motor switch. Anything that you can point me to?

You will probably not want to hear this but the best results for a switch is to go to the dealer. I have had good luck with oem but they are not cheap i believe the last one i purchased was $45 to $55.00 but that has been a few years ago. There is the dodge direct/parts web site that has fairly reasonable prices. I am not sure what the site address is maybe someone else on here will know Also check your local u pull parts/salvage yard.

If you are meaning the fan speed switch, I have had pretty good luck by simply taking them apart and re-working the insides, cleaning up the contacts and tightening the mechanism.

There are hardly any parts in them and really very simple; just unfold the little metal "ears" that hold the back in the housing, slide the guts out, fix, put back together, and carefully bend the "ears" back.

Checked the local junkyard? You can get the whole panel for a few bucks.
