First please allow me to introduce my self I could not find the new member intro thread so I'll do it here, my name is Archie and my truck wants to be an alcoholic!
That was for you Dave! My truck is a 92 250 flat bed Ive owned it for 2 months now its got 145 k and came from California.the paint was bad and it was debadged but I've corrected that.I swaped in the 12cm hot side, replaced the rear main seal and installed an aluminum flat bed with delta pro tool boxes( Im building it as a tow rig/competition Jeep hauler. Wannadiesel Dave killed the KDP set pump timing rotated the fuel pin and fixed the throttle travel. the truck now runs great!!! Thanks again Dave!
I live in Milton Pa and have taught auto mechanics for the past 15 years
I was an auto mechanic for 20 years before that.I am having great fun learning about diesel performance from some great diesel guys. Jesse and Nick from milton and both Dave's from fall brawl that worked my truck over!
Now that the intro is done could I axe you all a question?
I recently replace a bad SBEC that after 20 min would kill he speedo/od
after replacement all was well for about 3 weeks now the wait to start light flashes intermitenly. there is no ryme or resone when it does that, has any one had this happen? could it be the grid heater or relays? any info would be great.

On the old trucks that was the indication of an open in the air temp sensor circuit. I don't know if the intercooled trucks are the same.
