Bleeding Brakes

Bleeding Brakes

Is it neccessary to have the engine running while bleeding the brakes? I have a brake booster. Just wondering.

No, the engine does not need to be running.

I'll need to bleed the brakes again, they seem a little mushy.
I might replace the hoses next.
