Big o

Hey all my ip is leaking from the large oring. I just rebuilt my pump not too long ago and the oring was green. I ordered another kit an put it on again and it seemed fine. I noticed it started to drip again.

I can see air sucking in where it splits between the block and main pump. Should I order another kit? I thought about tightening the Allen bolts but I don't want to snap them. If I recall the orange sits inside and tightening it wouldn't help much. Strange I put 2k on the pump with no leaks.

The big O-ring on the head? This one can be a little trick to get in place without damaging it. When you replaced it was there any damage to the old O-ring?

Yeah the big o ring on the high pressure lines. It was fine looking when I took it off. Figured it might have been a design flaw. Nope.

They can sometimes fish mouth and not have a good seal. I usually take a lot of time lubing the O-ring, then carefully tightening the head down. I watch the O-ring and push it in with a smooth rounded end pick.

What size hex goes into the back of the pump? Friend of mine is going to pick it up tomorrow. I was thinking a 6mm?

It's a torx bit 5mm, it isn't the O-ring. Took the lines off last night and I had a high pressure port leaking. I took it out and it looks like the copper washer was in backwards. The flat side was to the nozzle port and the ridged side was to the oring block. I flipper it over and I don't see anything leaking now. Thinking when I rebuilt the pump I must have put it in upside down
