Better Filtration

Does anyone make a "better", as in smaller particle size, fuel filter that fits in the stock location? I'm looking for something like 2 micron, but 5 micron would still be an improvement over the stock 10 micron unit.

Alternatively, is there an easy way to change the fuel filter housing to accept a Fleetguard FF5320. I'd need some kind of M16x1.5 to 1"x14 thread adapter. Anybody know of such a part?

I was going to bypass the stock filter and put a 10 micron W/S followed by a FF5320 between the IP and Injector pump, but I can't find a good place to mount it without restricting access to the IP.

I eliminated my stock filter and went with a 12mic water separator feeding into a 2 micron filter. these filters are mounted on standard filter heads with 1/2"pipe in/out and I think 3/4-16 filter threads.

I mounted this setup on the inner fender by first removing the cruise actuator, then mounting this setup at a little of an angle, then remounting the cruise actuator on top of my filter setup.

I wanted the 2 micron so I didn't have to filter my WMO so much before I dumped it in the tank, plus both these filters will flow like 12 gal per min, not sure at what pressure though.

Any chance you could post a picture of how you mounted the filter heads?

Thanks
