If you keep things mild, you can hybrid your H1C to 60mm for around $225. That is what I am doing to my 91 as soon as I can sneak it into the hangar.

The turbo you have will work just fine with your stock injectors. As long as you have enough air to burn your fuel, a different turbo will not add more power. On a diesel, fuel=power. You need enough air to burn the fuel and keep EGT down. If EGT's are high then upgrade to the 60 mm compressor. See the sticky for how.

Id see what ur budget is and then buy a turbo according to what it says and how many mods you want in the future.

HE 351 would be a good upgrade if ya wanna keep it cheap.

to get the he351 to work, you just gotta reclock the housings and pull the two studs out of the turbo and drill the holes a little bigger and then it'll bolt right up. You don't have to reclock the housings, but then you have your intercooler pipe up on top and have to make it go over the intake tube. If you reclock the housings, you'll have to take the wastegate off, but i made a bracket with a spring so my wastegate will still open off of drive pressure at about 34 lbs, if i take the spring off and put a turnbuckle on it so it will stay shut, i can hit 40 lbs.

I really love this turbo and it cools really well and spools really quick, my trucks an auto and i love it

Do you have to change the exhaust, or will the stock exhaust still fit?

the he351 has a 4" exhaust outlet so you will need a 4" system if you don't already, and then you'll just have to weld the flange on to the downpipe and use a V-band clamp.

I have a hood stack so i just have a 4" 90 elbow welded to the 4" he351 flange v-band clamped to the turbo, with a 5" tip on the 4" elbow.
