Belt tensioner- replacement brand?
Is this something that needs to come from Cummins to be reliable?

Or can I pick it up at NAPA or O' Riley's?

They are a dayco brand, and i got mine from autozone.Same as the stock one.

Their price varies. Check, the cheaper the better in this instance. Auto zone won out for me. JMHO

The one I got at napa had an insert for a 1/2" ratchet instead of a 3/8" like the original one. When I took my original one off for the last time it was very wore there, and the new one looks like it will hold up better.

Get the Dayco brand ONLY. Usually can be had from Autozone. Just be sure to check inside the box before you leave, they tried to slip me a POS el cheapo tensioner in a Dayco box.
