My all time best with the single HX35 hybrid was 13.95 at about 38psig boost.

If one were to run it all through the laundry, I've not really picked up any HP. But I have picked up a little bit of torque and it appears to be beyond what the current valvebody tuning can support.

I'd like to think I can raise a pressure and fix it before it causes permanent damage should I push it that hard again.

I dunno, right now I'm kinda irritated with it all.

On the flip-side, my old truck with my home-built non-lockup A518 is quicker than a few seemingly equal trucks running the later lock-up trans.

You have picked up useable power though. EGT's are much lower, so that means a lot. Sounds like you could just use more fuel now!

I am surprised by some of the old non lockup transmissions, they do a lot better than i would think for the most part, and seem to be more reliable. A good tight converter will let anything put the power down pretty good though

BC,

I didnt gain anything when I went to twins either. EGT's did go down , but the HP stayed the same. You will notice that you have more useable power like cumminsdriver635 said. I did like your write up about the install.

Well, y'all should know by now I can't leave well enough alone.

Stomp, as you and cumminsdriver635 have said, I've picked up over 100ft/lbs of torque with greatly reduced EGTs. I'm by no means disappointed with the results of the twin thing.

I've all winter to sort the trans thing so as to support some EDMs.

CaptainChrysler is in the midst of a unique twins install, check it out , , , https://www.dieseltruckresource.com/...d.php?t=222129
