bad computer? help

not working: over drive, speedo, odometer, no charge, ac clutch (probably not related..PROBABLY) only works with direct wiring to bat.

I thought my problem was the wiring harness to transmission (od solenoid, speed sensor, thermal od lockout) all rodent chewed and melted, made a new wiring harness for it all didn't fix any of my problems except it went from blowing ignition fuse and no start, to start and drives.

I have checked crank position sensor (not sure if I did it right) by, key off, probing power from pcm wire-dead, sensor return wire-.04 volts.
truck running yielded same results.
forgot to mention I tested the speed sensor and nothing, replaced it with a new one didn't fix anything so I tested it with a drill still nothing.
so I have ruled out CPS(probably), speed sensor( for sure) and bad wiring (all tape off went through entire wiring harness while fixing trans wiring).

ok so my conclusion is that my pcm is bad. please tell me I'm wrong
thanks in advance

oh yeah checked the remaining fusible links, all passing voltage no cracks tears burns etc. all is good there

well I think I fixed it and I was half right. dug in further to the computer wiring found a red wire (directly to bat according to wiring diagram) it was spliced together with a similar sized red wire from the start relay and tucked up behind the fender... no idea how any of this worked up until this point after seeing that... now I have to figure out where the red relay wire is supposed to be. first I'll test drive to make sure I have speedo etc.

You've got a million mile motor in a 150,000 mile body with a 30.000 mile wiring harness.
