which axle do I have.
Guys,
Not near my truck to find out for myself but which axles should I have in a 1991.5 D250 with a518 tranny (4speed OD).
also which wieght gear oil does the rear axle require 75-90?

Dana 70 rear.
I am not positive but i think for towing applications you run 75w140. If you don't tow you can get away with 80w90. You may need a few oz's of friction modifier if you have a limited slip differential.

It will say on the white sticker on the underside front edge of the hood.....
Or it says LS right on the tag which is on the rear differential cover.
