Question auto crank shaft

Hello All! I am going to buy a 89 or 90 engine to replace my 800,000 mi motor. My question is, the new motor came from a auto trans and my current is a getrag, any fact to the rumor of a auto crank is not drilled for a pilot brng?? Thank's Much

I do believe the pilot bearing is in the flywheel, not the crank.

I will confirm that. Every Cummins B series (4BT & 6BT) that I have worked on have been mounted in the flywheel.
