aurora
If it has at least a 4" intake opening, 2 1/2" to 3" compressor outlet, 4" or larger exhaust opening, and the turbine housing size is 16cm ( or close ) or has an A/R of ~ 1.1 to 1.4 it will be better than the H1C.
The key is the blade diameter :
60mm to 64 for the turbine ...fast spin up
65 to 71 for the compressor...lots of air
Whether it has a T3 or T4 mount depends on how much work you want to do getting it attached to your exhaust manifold - which is a T3.
OH - an Aurora 2000 is too small for our engines.
A 3000 is the smallest I'd even look at - if it met the parameters I mentioned above. I've seen some with 3" intakes and/or 3" exhausts - useless...
Compare any turbo you may be thinking of buying with your H1C - if it's not larger, don't waste your time.

I know a guy that has the 3000 on his 2nd gen 24 valve with 150hp injectors and edge juice with attitude and he really likes it. He said it cools really well and he tows a lot with it. I just got a 5000 from him.

the stock h1c isnt that bad i made 300hp with one before i went to twins it did get alittle hot towing but still made good power. if you were going to spend money on a turbo though i would invest my money in something better than the aurora. just my 2 cents though

It's physically too small. That's like a 4bt turbo. Just stay away from them.
Buy a turbo from somewhere like industrial injection where they actually give you the specs...

i know of some guys running them on Dmaxes and they love em, but idk that kindsa small. i have a A3000 on my truck that i bought for $800 and have put about 30,000 on it and its doing great. i really dont think there is any crafsman ship lost in ats products or any quality lost. its just the name people dont like. i liked this turbo when i had stock stix and the 366. it was instant spool 37lbs of cool air and nver about 1200 even towing 14k at WOT. i now have 5x.012s more pump mods and hitting around 45lbs of boost. its instant spool again but can hit 1400 at WOT. but it doenst get hotter than that and that is when i am reaching 105mph. so really it not a bad turbo. tows great and is a very good product. if i was going to buy a turbo directly form a dealer it would be a S series due to many upragdes and they are so commmon. and you can get a brand new one for liek $800 but how much they want for ATS is kinda up there. but the quality is great. i mean occasional 54psi bursts tows weekly plows snow 2 months every year gets beat on when racing and hittng the mud. so im my mind great turbo but just wouldnt buy one for the price they offer
