Question Where did the Aurora Turbos go?

Anyone know why ATS stopped selling their Aurora turbos? Just curious.

scwitzer(sp?) stopped making the cartridges for the turbos so there is no more replacement parts for them. ATS has a nice turbo coming out in about 3 weeks. Hint: variable...... 60lbs boost....jake exhaust brake compatible......

yes, pricing (ballpark) should be around $2,300 give or take. The Turbo should be available with 3 1/2", 4" or 4"+ outlet.....

Spendy. Ball bearing or standard cartridge/bushing design? It will be nice to have another option, but I believe variable geometry will have to get a little cheaper than that for most. 60psi requires studs, head gasket, o-rings....$$$$$$$. You could have a 50psi set of twins for what you will have in this setup. Of course, if it is real ball bearings, it may be the last turbo you ever have to buy. This will be interesting to watch. Thanks for the info.

So, what is going to control the VGT vanes? Is ATS going to package a controller or ?????

The VGT turbo is a nice concept for us heavy towers. Small nozzle area for quick spool and little/no smoke, then large nozzle area for EGT control. With a large nozzle area, I don't need 60 PSIG boost, thanks.
