ATF Level

I'm assuming I'm checking the fluid level correctly. I think it severely overfilled! When fully warm and engine running and in Neutral, the level reads all the way up past the S bend, which is about an inch and a half above the upper dot. I'm I checking it correctly? I have the extra under bed auxillary cooler from the factor installed too.

thanks,

brad

Sounds like you are doing it right. The book says that "hot" means you can't hold the oil between your fingers, and it is to be checked in neutral. Time to dump the excess.

Thanks Dave! Think I'll dump half and bring it up to nomal "between the dots" with type F and see if I get firmer shifts with 50/50 mix of +3 & F
