Anyone have an Aux-in on their factory stereo?

Hi-

I'm looking for a way to add a headphone jack adapter onto my stock audio system. I don't want to change the looks of the truck's interior. FM transmitters and tape deck adapters are out. Tape deck doesn't work and FM transmitters get interference

Thanks,
Mitch

You're dissing on FM transmitters? I've been using one in every truck my dad buys and it always works great.

Antennae to Box ..... Box to radio....... plug in ipod into box... turn box to Aux.... works great

Nope, not dissing, I just have bad luck with my radio picking up everything but the FM transmitter.

Where do you get one of these boxes? Is it a wired FM modulator? Or a true aux in?

i got it at radioshack, it has two aux ports, two channels, one channel is aux2, one channel is aux1, the other channel is your regular antennae so you get radio.. i mounted it under the ashtray in like the spot where a brake controler would be, so the button is accessible, push the button and you have whatever you have plugged in, push it again and your back to radio. its kinda hard to explain

OHH, i know what you're talking about, where you plug the thing into your ipod and then put the radio to like 88.3 and it comes in all crappy and you have to put the vol. on 155 to even hear it
