Anybody chnaged out a fuel sender?
Where did you guys find one, if you did? Napa online and Parts America do not list on their website. About what did it cost ya?
I think its time to replace mine. Needle is always on E. No voltage coming out of any of the pins on the sender connection, took it out of the tank, moved the float up and down, and still nothing. I have good grounds, though. Funny thing is, that whjen i shut the truck and it sits for an hour so, the needle wil creep up to just under a 1/4 tank and sit there till i turn the key back to on.
Having a flatbed on the truck that you can pick up with a tractor and set aside sure makes exhaust work and fuel tank work soooo much easier.

when you find a source let me know. I screwed mine up dropping the tank last month. I am going to get a sender from a gas truck in the J-yard and try that. My truck does not use the stock fuel pickup anymore
When I was taking the bed off my 90 I snapped the suction line off my sending unit same thingdealer auto parts store. I went to the salvage yard and found a gas tank from a gasoline powered Dodge p_up (dont know what year) the sendinr unit was the same all I did was block off the vent for fuel vapor. If you find one look at it you will see what I mean.

the part cost $30 dollars at the dodge dealer.
You shouldn't be able to read any voltage coming out of the sender unless there is voltage going in. the unit is just a resistive strip that gives you a percentage of the voltage put in. the output voltage should be purportional to fuel level.
when I replaced my fload assembly I also installed a custom fuel pickup which is larger diameter than the stock line.
