any pics of first gen stock tach available?

I recall really loving the tach on my 93 way back when I had it, but I can't for the life of me remember exactly how it looked, and if it aged well in my brain. Anyone have pics of thier stock 5 speed first gen tachs around?

Use Google and you will be looking at a dozen pictures of them in seconds.

Yeah, going to have to clear my browser or something, I only get second gen pics. Been going through the pages here of gauges as well, trying to get a game plan going. On this truck, gauges are really the biggest downer day to day, other than the seat. Soon as I find a second gen seat, I am doing that mod as well.

edited to add, yep, clearing out the history and cookies got me some original pics- it is all the way to the left, as I recall, it was nearly touching my windshield. I think I want that stocker back.

Edited to add more- I wonder if it would interfere with a triple pillar pod?

My factory tach was dead, so I mounted a 3" isspro to the same holes in the dash.

I caution against the 2nden seat unless you're a smaller person. They're a huge seat. The 1stgen cabs are smaller. I'm very happy with the Ramcharger seats I swapped into my 93 club.

I've not checked lately but those stock tachs are super rare and pricey when you find one. I got the pod that sits on the steering column and put mine there, right in the sight line when looking at the stock gauges. Not as big as the dealer installed though.

Shoots, I was looking at thrashing cows? I think it was? Seat mod, and he said he was really tall, I am 6'2" tall, so I am not smaller person! The stock seats are killing my back though.

I may just do the tach mount on the collumn like everyone else, here, and do some pillar mounted gauges, and swap out the crappy gauges in the cluster, with a better oil pressure, temp gauges etc.

Honestly, the only thing I don't like about the truck is the gauges.

Fixing the AC in a week or so, and the stereo rocks!

My tach and an EGT and Boost gauge sit in bullet cases on top of the dash where God intended.
