1992 4x4 Auto.
The speedo and O/D just stopped working.
I bought a new VSS and it still doesnt work, even doing the drill test.
it has continuity all over.
DRL delete..
I have checked everything and cant figure it out.
So can I cut the Black / Blue wire at the VSS and ground it? Then cut the Orange / White wire and run it up to the green wire on the speedo pin?
Will the speedo and overdrive work cuz it has a TPS Delete Kit?

If they stopped working after you put in the TPS delete kit then I'd say yes that might be your problem? But I have an automatic wiring system and harnesses on my crewcab with the manual transmission and my speedo works fine with no TPS even connected to the system, do you have charging and A/C? If your CPS is not working, or not adjusted to the .050" gap properly then your ECM will not know that the motor is running and will not turn on some of the functions.

I jist bought the truck from a buddy who had the TPS delete put in years ago.
He is not a wrench at all.
I am wondering if I can directly wire the VSS to the speedo, skipping the PCM with the Overdrive still working because of the TPS delete.

I will check out the CPS too.
