driving home truck sputters and dies, try to crank key nothing, lights work ignition buzzer works, i smelt an electrical burn briefly. one of my orange fuse links fried. i put the ends together to test, turn the key and it cooks again. the starter seems to work and i took the relay apart and it seems to work there is no voltage at the fuel pump maybe because when i turn the key the fuse burns

this thing what ever it is is warm to hot to touch a day later.

Check and see if you still have a dead short with it unhooked and the wires not touching. if the short is gone try the turn signals.
