Another spring question

Are the front springs on the 4x4's supposed to be about level?Mine have a bit off downward arch to them.I am getting a add-a-leaf system soon and was wondering if it will be tough to install if the springs arent arched right. The add-a-leafs say they raise it 1.5-2in.,will they really raise it that much? The front is pretty heavy.

Mine are alittle past flat, ordered some skyjacker replacement 1" lift packs. I got the notice from Summitracing that the finally shipped after 2.5wks.

AAL is a cheaper way to go but it is hard to really tell what they will give ya.

From my experience with AAL they make a very harsh ride most of the time. I have made custom leaf packs on my jeeps with good luck, but it takes some time to get it right. Salvage yard packs mix-n-match leafs till you get what you want. My 89JX has leafs from 3 different vehicles in it

It'll stiffen it up and raise you the spring thickness. Doubt they'll really give you more travel, mine didn't.
