Another 1st gen gets a stack

The pics pretty well explain themselves. My dad got a stack on his 93'. I couldn't convince him to go larger than a 4" but oh well. I like it and it sounds good. Stacks on 1st gens rule

Ya you should have seen me telling him "Ya this guy from DTR took his cool stack off his white truck and you should get one to put the pressure on him" Actually his stock straight pipe fell off after 13 years . And no matter what I did he wouldn't budge off of 4"

Those look great! But dual six inch rock!! Just one thing....I found out that if you tow, you better have some mufflers! I bought some drop-ins so when I tow, I drop them in and when I dont....Well the neighbor complained once!

Nah who needs mufflers... he has been pulling his 28' gooseneck with the exhaust exiting under the cab for like 4 months now.

Hey Haloman, where did you get your stack, anyway? It's the same as mine was, and I prefer that style of turnout compared to the style your dad has. If I WERE to put a couple 6''-ers on this summer I'd like to find them in that style.
Thanks!

haloman: I had that same problem and got tired of the noise being inside so I put the noise outside and have actually had people take pics of them!

There is guy around Sikeston, MO where we go to a farm consigment sale and he runs and mail-order exhaust shop for big rigs. Can't think of his name to save me. But one day we went there one day and he had some "Blem" stacks so we got a little stash of stacks for next to nothing. Sry for not helping but helping. LOL!!!

I think there is a certain white, 1989, W250 that'd look right nice with a set of 6" stacks.

Honestly he doesn't care very much either way as the only reason he put it on was because his stock straight pipe that came on the truck when he got it new (well not the straight part) finally fell off and it was just as easy for him to put on a stack as a regular exhaust.

When I bought my truck at 15, my dad laid down 2 rules. No radar detector (whoops ) and no straight pipe while I was under his roof, whoops again . The radar detector wasnt while under his roof, but he never noticed the straight pipe until I had him weld my tip on...Dads and their quiet trucks, (duramax) as if they never had anything loud...
