another 1/2 turn of fuel today
another 1/2 turn of fuel today
Well I was going to wait till spring but, the weather was good today and the full power screw went in another 1/2 turn. Dropped idle to 850 while I was at it. EGT's are about 800 post turbo on decent acceleration and 30 PSI has happened! The H1C turbo seems to stuggle past 20 psi but boost is coming on much faster than at the previous setting. I ended up adjusting the aneroid back to the stock setting and setting the star wheel at almost the top of the threads to control smoke,
somewhat.
I haven't cleaned the weld scars off of the screw yet but there isn't much more to go before the nut binds on the weld scars. How much further can I go before its pull cable time? Still running on the stock solenoid and need to till march or so then it's go time for sled season. I can shut down easy now so I am probably ok. I would like to keep the solenoid if someone knows a way to keep the plunger on? Perhaps a custom nylon plunger would fix the problem.

This worked for me. I put it in in August and it's still shutting the truck off.

. For the record it would be nice if the solenoid works when I go fuel crazy, I think the pull cable should be more of a safety feature on a heavily modded truck.THANKS WANNADIESEL FOR THE TECH TIP
