Alright guys, today i bought 95 model 5.9 powered school bus with a allison 545 tranny. I paid next to nothing for it and it is in excellent condition. What do i need to do to fit the beast in my truck? Can I reuse my getrag crossmember? Im wanting to run a manual valve body. What kind of adapters do I need to mate the 205 back up? Driveshaft mods? All im wanting is a 4x4 rocket that will get driven only on the weekends. I figure ill sell my getrag, and SB FE. Any input is greatly appriciated. When it comes time to bolt her up in there, ill continue this tread and post lots of pics.

 

I'm thinking the 205 will have to be divorced which also means custom d-shafts and x-members. Ask 1stgen545, he's been down that road.
