Does anybody have any ideas on how i can mate a transfercase to an Allison 545, the allsion has a 1480 u-joint. I can make a driveshaft that has a 1480 U-joint and is 3-1/2" driveshaft but what input yoke can i use where i can get a weld on yoke that is also 3-1/2" driveshaft. I know nothing about 4x4 I have never owned one.

I am trying to build a 5/4 ton GM military 4x4 with a p7100 pump 5.9. Aiming fo 400hp at the wheels. Any help would be much appreciated.

 

A divorced transfer case would be easiest. There are some divorced NP205's out there, but they are hard to find and can be expensive.
